The DC Youth Orchestra Program has a place for all students with any level of experience. All students who have prior experience with their instrument will be auditioned and assigned to a curriculum level of The Program. Each audition is heard and evaluated by one of our outstanding faculty and/or conductors. Beginning students are not auditioned, please see guidelines below:

Advanced Auditions: Advanced Auditions for 2011-12 can still be made by appointment.
     See audition materials below.  This is for students targeting the most advanced ensemble of the program.  Please contact us at info@dcyop.org to arrange your appointment.  

Intermediate Auditions:
     Students can audition at any time during the semester.
     Bring your current school, lesson, and practice materials to play.

Beginning Students with Experience, Auditions:
     Students can audition at any time during the semester.
     Bring your current school, lesson, and practice materials to play. 

Beginning Students (NEW BEGINNERS)
