A student's music education is simply not complete without the opportunity to perform - every one of our more than 600 students in the program perform, from the youngest beginners to the most advanced youth orchestra students!

The DC Youth Orchestra Program maintains a vibrant and active concert season. Opportunities to perform regularly are a vital part of the music education provided through the program. In addition to  concerts, the students also participate in juries and master classes and also perform around the community in smaller chamber groups.
