Richard Gill, Conductor, Beginning Band, Concert Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble
B.M. in Music Performance, Howard University. Additional Studies, Catholic University of America. He retired in 2008 from a long career as a music teacher and band director with DC Public Schools at Banneker JrHS, Patterson Jr.HS, Jefferson Jr.HS, and Cardozo HS. Mr. Gill also served as President of the DC Music Educators' Association (DC-MEA) for a two-year term. In the fall of 2009, Mr. Gill returned to teaching as the band director at Fairmount Heights HS in Maryland. Mr. Gill is an alumnus of the DC Youth Orchestra Program, graduating in 1967.
