The DC Youth Orchestra Program (DCYOP) is pleased to announce it’s Passport to Summer intensive musical program for youth during the summer of 2025. The program, designed for complete beginners to advanced student musicians is open to children and youth in grades 1 to 12.

DCYOP faculty and conductors will work with students in orchestral string, wind, brass, and percussion to sharpen their musical skills in both small and large ensemble settings, expand their repertoire, and create new bonds and friendships.

Programs for young students who have not yet started an instrument are designed to help them learn more about orchestral music and explore which instrument is right for them. The last day to register for the summer program is April 30, 2025.

Programs will be held at the MacFarland Middle School, located at 4400 Iowa Ave NW, Washington, DC 20011. Tuition for these programs varies by skill level and income. Assistance programs and payment plans are available.
